OSSIA successes at the Oregon Legislature

Great news to share - Gov. Kotek just issued an executive order relating to siting for utility-scale projects, both on the distribution and transmission systems. House bill 2065

Good news - OSSIA priority bills passed! 

  • HB 2066 and HB 2065- to create a microgrid program and improve interconnection

  • SB 688 to begin exploring performance-based ratemaking

  • HB 3681 to create a more streamlined EFSC process

  • HB 3336 to require planning for Grid Enhancing Technologies

  • HB 3863 to allow standard contracts and rates for solar projects up to 10 MW

  • SB 827 to expand Solar+ Storage Rebate eligibility to include stand-alone storage
