Covid-19 Safety Guidelines Options

As businesses adjust to the new orders regarding the Covid-19 pandemic, we want to provide stakeholders different guidelines from around Oregon and around the country to help you navigate the new working environment.

Governor Brown’s Executive Orders currently allow for solar installation to continue. In order to keep your employees and your community safe, OSEIA recommends adopting safety guidelines for your business.

Here are sample safety guidelines that solar installers in Oregon and around the country have taken.  We hope they are helpful.

1.     Bring Porta Pottys to all jobsites.
2.     Only one person per truck. 
3.     A crew of no more than 2 people will meet at the office to load trucks for the day. The remaining crew will meet at the job site at a predetermined time.
4.     Physical spacing from workers and customers at all times, 6' distance as required by the Governor’s Orders.
5.     Minimize customer in-person interaction
6.     Call ahead to job and make sure no one is sick.
