Oregon Tech’s 2019 Summit (The Energy-Environment Future: A Summit Exploring Pacific NW Options) will focus on issues facing leadership and communities in planning for and delivering renewable energy in the context of effective environmental management. The Summit will help to convene and further develop a community of practice that identifies key challenges and develops solutions in the nexus of renewable energy and environmental issues. It is critical to educate industry, academia and the public about energy and environmental issues and demonstrate effective options specific to the Northwest; as well as encourage the adoption of new management techniques or measures that are sustainable.
